Staff attorney Benjamin Geffen submitted comments to The Honorable Kathleen Sebelius, urging her to deny Governor Corbett’s Healthy PA plan.
He said that in this case, the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health and Human Services should not waive certain requirements of the Medicaid Act. He also wrote that the Healthy PA plan violates the “simplicity of administration” requirement of the Medicaid Act and is not “likely to assist in promoting the objectives” of the Act.
