Thank you for requesting a special education law consultation!
You will hear from a Law Center staff member soon to schedule an appointment for your consultation. You should begin assembling the materials we need for the consultation now, and we must receive the materials at least a week before the scheduled consultation. If we do not have the materials we need, the consultation will be canceled.
Materials to send:
- Your child’s latest Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Your child’s latest 504 plan
- Hearing officer decisions in IDEA due process hearings
- Mediation agreements
- Assessments and evaluations of your child
- Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Other relevant or important documents

If you have an advocate or have had an advocate in the past, please indicate whether you wish to have that individual contacted prior to our meeting and provide us written permission to do so.*
Please only send copies of your documents, NOT originals. Keep all originals in a safe place. Send your packet on CD or E-Stick only. If you cannot do so, please contact us for permission to send documents in hard copy.
