Priscilla Ruilova

Environmental Justice Organizer

Priscilla joined the law center in April 2025 as the environmental justice organizer with our environmental justice practice.

Priscilla graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations in 2017. Prior to joining the Law Center, she cultivated relationships with farmers in PA, particularly those from marginalized and underrepresented groups, to inform sustainable agriculture policy initiatives at Pasa Sustainable Agriculture. She worked extensively to facilitate policy advocacy trainings and organizing meetings for urban and historically underserved farmers mainly in Pittsburgh, Erie, and Philadelphia.

From 2017-2022 she was an immigration and employment law paralegal and the Community Education and Engagement Lead at Justice at Work, closely collaborating with H2-A farmworkers, landscapers, and immigrant-serving organizations across Pennsylvania. Here she worked primarily on T-visa applications for immigrant workers experiencing the most egregious working conditions and helped connect them with necessary social services and community organizing resources. She also conducted and managed statewide outreach from Know-Your-Rights talks to H2-A workers on farm labor camps in rural PA to presenting about the needs of immigrant workers in PA at state-wide conferences, in partnership with the Mexican Consulate of Philadelphia, and with local Spanish-language radio stations.

Through coalition building, grassroots organizing and community education, Priscilla has championed the rights of all workers and growers regardless of immigration status and remains committed to elevating their most pressing concerns.

When she is not organizing, Priscilla enjoys salsa dancing, hiking, and experimenting with gluten and dairy-free cooking and baking.
