Mr. McJunkin joined the Law Center in 2018. As communications manager, he maintains the Law Center’s website, social media accounts, newsletters, and media relations. Mr. McJunkin also creates communications strategies for cases and projects, works closely with partner organizations on external communications for shared advocacy efforts, and supports Law Center staff by helping to increase the visibility of their work.

Prior to joining the Law Center, Mr. McJunkin served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for College Possible Philadelphia, a college access organization. He has also worked as a freelance journalist, writing concert reviews and other articles for Minneapolis outlet City Pages. While attending Macalester College, Mr. McJunkin served as Editor in Chief of The Mac Weekly, the college’s independent student newspaper.

Mr. McJunkin graduated from Macalester College with a B.A. in neuroscience studies.
