We are humbled and honored to be chosen to receive a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award from the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia at its MLK Day breakfast on Monday, January 19, 2015.
The award is being presented by The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia to the Law Center for our “outstanding service to the community.” You can register for the event here. Do so quickly as the event is known to sell out!
“We are so honored to be recognized by the Barristers, a group that inspires us all with its commitment to racial equality,” Law Center executive director Jennifer Clarke said.
The Law Center has a strong relationship with the association. Kevin Harden, Jr., vice president of administration for Barristers’, currently serves as an ex-officio member of the Law Center’s Board of Directors. Barristers’ president Monique Myatt Galloway recently finished a term as a board member and is on the Law Center’s advisory board.
