In December 2012, the Law Center filed a Right-to-Know request with the Office of the Governor and the Department of Public Welfare to obtain a report prepared by Deloitte LLP concerning the costs and benefits of expanding the Pennsylvania Medicaid program in accordance with the Affordable Care Act.

The Law Center is awaiting a substantive response to this request.

The expansion of the Pennsylvania Medicaid program in accordance with the Affordable Care Act would benefit approximately 650,000 non-disabled, low-income adults who previously did not have insurance coverage.
