On July 18, the Law Center, the ACLU, Arnold & Porter and the Advancement Project filed a pre-trial brief outlining for the Court the irrationalities and barriers created by the Voter ID law, the irreparable harm that will be caused if the over 750,000 citizens without proper ID are disenfranchised, and the reasons why a preliminary injunction must be granted.
The brief incorporated the findings of five expert reports (located in Case Documents above).
Trial is set to begin on July 25th in Harrisburg.
