Carlos Montoya is Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils sports organizations, as well as the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Previously, he was assistant general counsel at Aramark Corporation, where he held various corporate counsel and compliance positions, including serving as lead counsel for Aramark’s business dining division. Prior to Aramark, Carlos was an associate in the litigation practice group in the Philadelphia office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius, where he represented corporate clients and individuals in commercial, securities and class action litigations and government investigations, and represented individuals in civil and criminal pro bono matters. Mr. Montoya also clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Gene E.K. Pratter, and worked as an associate in the corporate department of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, NY. Mr. Montoya graduated from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
