Ms. Grimaldi joined the Law Center in 2013, as a communications associate. As the Director of Development & Communications, she built the Law Center’s visibility through strategic development and communications programming. Ms. Grimaldi implemented the annual development plan to raise money from foundations and individual donors, and was responsible for launching a rebranding effort and designing digital outreach. Starting in 2019, she is now Chief Strategy Officer, responsible for creating and implementing major strategic initiatives for the Law Center, such as capital campaigns and organizational planning.
Before coming to the Law Center Ms. Grimaldi worked for the New York Legal Assistance Group as an AmeriCorps*VISTA Development Associate, where she developed marketing materials, edited foundation grants and planned the Associate Board’s first fundraising event. She also worked at the Better Government Association as a Community Outreach Coordinator, rejuvenating a 90-year-old organization by developing diversified revenue sources to build and sustain the programming, which included organizing three annual fundraising events. Directly preceding her tenure at the Law Center, Ms. Grimaldi worked as a Healthcare Service Coordinator at the Muscular Dystrophy Association, connecting families with neuromuscular diseases with the organization’s services. Ms. Grimaldi graduated from Muhlenberg College Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in English and Spanish.
