Director of the Law Center’s Garden Justice Legal Initiative Amy Laura Cahn will present on Sunday, April 14th at the 2nd annual Philly Farm & Food Fest.
During her presentation Amy Laura will explore the legal, policy and informational barriers that prevent communities from accessing vacant land as part of the daylong festival on local food and farming issues. She will also be discussing the effects these barriers have on the local food system and community-supported development of vacant land. Her workshop, “Tools & Tactics for Community Land Access,” runs from 2 – 3pm on Sunday. Tickets are required for attendance.
