Amy Laura Cahn, director of our Garden Justice Legal Initiative, testified in front of the City Council Committee on Law and Government on Monday, April 28, 2014, in support of a resolution that would provide for the creation of an Office of Sustainability.

The Law Center has a 40-year history working to support environmentally just communities. Over the past two-and-a-half years, the Garden Justice Legal Initiative has provided pro bono and policy support to Philadelphia’s gardens and farms. Ms. Cahn said, “No city agency has been more impactful or more of a partner in this work than the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability.”
